Remembering Josh

It is with great sadness that we share that a core member of our team has passed away. Joshua Douglass was the face – and the heart – of Perks Reclaimed. Josh was beloved by our team and so many of our customers for his warmth, sincerity, and guidance. We will miss him terribly.

Over the last several years, Josh grew Perks Reclaimed into what it is today. He genuinely loved what he did and cared deeply about the mission. That passion translated to his ability to connect with customers about their projects, which was a source of joy for him. Day to day, he wore many hats to help things run smoothly – everything from managing our store personnel and inventory, to creating and organizing the space. He was also a tremendous team member, problem solving on the fly and using his creativity to build garden beds, bookshelves, and recycling bin enclosures for the shop.

We loved working with him. We are beyond grateful for the impact he made, the community he helped build, and the privilege of having known him.

We are thinking of him with love in our hearts and are sending love and support to his family and friends.
